Domeinnaamrecht.
Inhoudsopgave:
1. Consumentenbescherming en gereguleerde markten
2. Geografische aanduiding
3. Bedrijfsvormen / overheidsinstanties en religieuze uitgangen
4. Defensieve bescheming
5. Instructies als een Early Warning is ontvangen
1. Consumentenbescherming en gereguleerde markten
The string (.attorney) (.lawyer) (.casino) (.charity) is linked to a regulated market sector, and [applicants] does not appear to have proposed sufficient mechanisms to minimise potential consumer harm.
The	proposed	string is	linked	to	a	restricted	or	regulated	market	sector.	This	market	sector	is characterised by	the	ability	to	complete	entire	transactions	online,	without	the	need	for	any	face-to-face interaction. In	this	context, [applicant] does not appear	to	have	proposed	sufficient	protections	to	address	the potential	for	misuse.	Without	additional	protections,	this	proposed	TLD	could	result	in	misuse	and consumer	harm.
The term "Swiss" is primarily used as an adjective describing anything related to Switzerland, its people or culture, or as a noun to describe a native or inhabitant of Switzerland or a person of Swiss descent. An exclusive right of use granted to a private company would be against the public interest of the Swiss community because members of that community would be excluded from using that domain space. The exclusive right of use by Swiss International Air Lines Ltd would also be contrary to ICANN objectives to increase competition, innovation and growth in the internet addressing system.

The Government of the Swiss Confederation wishes to express its objection to the application submitted by Swiss International Air Lines Ltd for the gTLD '.swiss'. This domain should be managed by the Swiss Confederation as a community-based gTLD for the benefit of all members of the Swiss community, including private companies. This would better take into account the GAC principles regarding new gTLDs which state that new gTLDs should respect the sensitivities regarding terms with national, cultural, geographic and religious significance.
DCA’s applied for string (.Africa) is identical to the dotAfrica (.Africa) geographic application as officially endorsed by the AUC. Should DCA’s application be allowed to proceed, it is likely to deceive and/or confuse the public into believing that the AUC is associated with, or endorses their application, which we clearly do not.
香格里拉 als de uitgeschreven versie "Engelstalig" .shangrila.
3. Bedrijfsvormen / overheidsinstantie / religieuze uitgangen
The string (.sucks, .fail) has an overtly negative or critical connotation, and [applicant] does not appear to have proposed sufficient mechanisms to address the potential for a high level of defensive registrations.
